Wayne Smith (Russian Rock, 13th) – “He’s probably a better horse on sand than turf these days. They went too fast for him. It’s the end of a long season and he doesn’t owe us anything.”

Shane Foley (Russian Soul, 15th) – “He traveled good but the whole night got to him. He was very warn down at the start.”
Tadhg O’Shea (Ganas, 16th) – “I traveled well to the halfway. It was a very good race. He’s probably better on Tapeta going around a bend.”
